Hola todos!
First a milagro from the week. We prayed to know what city we should be in to find people who needed to hear our message since our area is so huge. And we all felt Riverton so we went to one apartment complex and stopped in the parking lot to know what we should do. Prayed again and felt yes stay here and I felt we we needed to go towards a certain direction and Elder Atilano saw the number 116 and a red tropical flower. So we followed the spirit and went to the building in that direction and we went up to room 1116 and next to that room there was a rug with red tropical flowers so we knew we were in the right place. We knocked the door and a white guy answered and we start talking. He said he and his girlfriend moved here 2 weeks ago and have been inactive for a while. But he said God must be trying to show us a sign because he has had about 5 times before us that week where someone came to his door and he said he felt he needed to come to church this Sunday. I'm not sure if he went, but that door knock was completely spirit led. We would not have went to his door without the help and guidance of the Spirit.
Also we took our friend Eduardo (guy with the big eyes from 2 weeks ago) to temple Square. He was amazed at the conference center with the huge organ. And we also went to the Joseph Smith history building and we watched the First Vision video and he started to tear up during it. The Spirit was super strong. But we asked him what his favorite part was and he said the huge painting of Christ coming to the Americas. I showed him that that same picture is in the front of the Book of Mormon and he can read about it in 3 Nefi. He was super excited about that. Also his face in every picture kills me. He just always keeps that same face haha
Also we took Mafe to the temple for the first time! She was just barely baptized last Sunday and went to the Temple to do baptisms on Thursday. She will be a member for life for sure. We are still trying to help her family take that step of faith of being baptized, but someday they will. She said she felt the Spirit the strongest ever in the temple.
Also Elder Jeffery R Holland came to our church for a devotional! It was crazy to see an apostle in person. He talked a lot about opposition and how we need to be a fortress for others and in return God promises to be a fortress for us. Just remember your testimony and experiences in your life that have helped it grow.
Love,
Elder Randall
