SLC WEEK 77

Hola todos!

This week was great!

Zone conference. It was fun to see everyone one and a lot of my old comps. Learned a lot and we felt the spirit

Apostle is coming and his name is Elder Ronald A. Rasband! We are going to go to the draper temple on Wednesday to prepare and we are finishing the book of mormon reading this week. It's been a grind reading 9 pages a day 

We are teaching serval people and many should be getting baptized next month. We have had to push a lot of dates back because it's snowing hard here and the people we teach keep getting sick.. 

But overall an awesome week!

SLC WEEK 76

Hola todos!

The week started off rough. I was sick Monday and Tuesday so I didn't go out. My companion though went to our lessons we had set up with another missionary and he put 5 on date for baptism in one night! Huge miracle. Its a family from Peru that is so ready for the gospel and we are super excited for them.

The haircut..  yep never going to sports clips again. Everybody noticed but it's fine  it'll grow back sometime.. 

A little rough this week at church. We had several families say we WILL be there even confirmed the night before. Many of those people didn't come.. but we still had a few of our main progressing families come which was a huge blessing. 

This area is a lot of fun but I lost some momentum with the sickness   Now that I'm starting to feel better it'll be more of a normal routine.

Overall the week was alright but still having a lot of fun. We do magic tricks for all the kids we teach and meet on the street. We also have several toys we have collected over the transfers that we use in our lessons haha. 

Also kids are obsessed with Pokémon here. Anytime we ask a kid about it they go crazy and pull out hundreds of cards haha. They have even gifted us some good cards for free that we show to kids hahah

SLC WEEK 75

Hola todos!

This week has been great! I've been a little sick so its been a struggle getting through it but we have some exciting things coming in this area.

Manuel got baptized! He is super awesome and was super ready for the gospel. We taught him over the span of 3 weeks and he was just so prepared and ready to take this step. We are excited to take him to the temple (also I had to practice saying his last name Saczekromaszewicz) yes that's his real last name haha

English class has been very successful here. We aren't sure why but its cool to see so many people eager to learn english.

We are keeping it going trying to put the people we are teaching on date for baptism. So many people are prepared here and we are excited to see how this area continues to grow!

SLC WEEK 74

Hola todos! 

This week has been great! Nothing too crazy new but had a lot of fun!

Its been super cold this week.  but we keep knocking doors and pushing through it. Its worse because in our part in Herriman we are higher in the mountains and its a lot more windy. I don't recommend going out at night haha

We have found several new families to start teaching and are excited to see how much potential they have. One we are hoping to put on date tonight!

We also have Manuel who will be baptized this Saturday and are super excited!  

Zone conference was fun to see everyone again. And we have been grinding hard our area out.  

I love the work and am super happy to be here. I just wish God will close the freezer
