SLC WEEK 55

 Hola todos!

This week has been awesome. We've seen a ton of miracles and we're getting excited for general conference week. 

Elder Ruiz and Elder Solano think I'm in Jamaica. We have had a few close calls but they still believe I'm in Jamaica . We made a fake weekly to prank them even more. But this week we will see them at zone conference so we will see their reaction haha

We have a bunch of progressing people here in the area and they are now super close and on date and we are super excited for them to get baptized! 

Nothing too crazy has happened this week but everyday I've been enjoying the mission and I hope it continues like this for the rest of the time i have left but sorry for the shorter email haha

SLC WEEK 54

 Hola todos!

This week was pretty great just the normal stuff going on. The zone we have now is pretty awesome because most of our problems left with transfers and new missionaries coming in haha

Transfers just happened and I'm staying here in Herriman. I love this area and there is a ton of work going on here. We have a bunch of people progressing its just a matter of getting them in the water

We had a lesson and our investigators have the new for strength of youth prototype  We looked through it and it seems pretty cool but nothing to much different other than the format. But its funny they have it before most of the members do haha

Overall a great week nothing to crazy to talk about but miracles keep coming and we are super close with some people. So if you can pray for them that'd be awesome!

SLC WEEK 53

 Hola todos!

This week was great! But a little sad because most of our progressing people were either sick or work blew up in their face so we didn't get to meet with a lot of them. And Enrique was supposed to get baptized but he said he wants to wait for his family to get here from Venezuela. Which is sad but very understandable 

We got to go to the temple several times this week to go with recent converts it was a great experience every time and I encourage everyone who can go to go soon.

We having a running prank about me going to Jamaica  haha. The people we live with are super gullible and we like to tell them random stuff thats a lie and they always believe it haha. So we said a long ways back that I am called to Jamaica Spanish speaking but I don't like to tell people so they don't think differently of me here on the mission. And Jamaica has been closed because of whats going on in Cuba but its finally chilled out. And last Wednesday we got the APs to help out and I finally got my call!! I am "going" on September 20th and they absolutely believe it now. I told some of my old companions to help me out and say to them if they heard about it. And they are 100% convinced. Stay tuned for what happens next haha

Work here is amazing and transfers came and Im staying with Elder Caten! I love Herriman and especially the Pioneer 13th ward!

If you all can keep praying for Ali and his family that would be awesome. They are having financial problems

SLC WEEK 52

 Hola todos!

This week was awesome as usual! Lots of fun and progress with the people we are teaching

Betty got baptized!! She was scared to go underwater but eventually she made it under to become a member! She is such a sweet wise lady and is so awesome. I'm so grateful to have taught her

For whatever reason I saw a bunch of recent converts that all don't live in my area that I've taught haha. I'm glad God put them in my path and that they are still very active in the church. Mafe, Daniela, and Maria! Daniela actually testified to someone we were teaching in the park which was so cool.

Elder Ruiz and Salano brought a ping pong table home. So thats been pretty fun haha

We also convinced them I am actually assigned to Jamaica Spanish speaking and am leaving in a few weeks. They are going to be shook when I actually stay haha. We even made a fake call and printed it out to convince them even more 

If everyone can pray for Ali and his family that would be great. They are having some bad financial problems caused by other people.
