¡Hola todos!
It has been another great week here, but definitely with a little more struggles. Since my trainer left it has just been me and Elder Boone trying to figure out the best way to do missionary work in our area. It has definitely been a ton of work, prayer, and diligence, but also a lot of fun.
This week we saw another miracle! Our friend Mafe we have been teaching received an answer to her prayers and told us she was ready to be baptized!! We were so happy to hear that because we have been fasting and praying hard for her for weeks now. So hopefully we will have another baptism pretty soon!
We also had the chance to go to the Jordan River Temple with our Spanish Zone. It was super beautiful and amazing and the spirit was super strong. I'm glad we get to go so often in this mission because it's definitely one of my favorite places to be and if you haven't been in a while, I would definitely try to go because it is such an amazing experience.
The weather is starting to get pretty cold and I definitely like the Arizona heat way more than this. The mountains are starting to have snow on top and it's a constant reminder of what's about to come. It has also been overcast for basically this whole week and raining. It was kind of depressing. But then yesterday the sun came out! It definitely brightened our mood haha
We also walk these apartments a lot since there are tons of Latinos that live there. And there's always this group of kids that hang out and play together in the park and so we stop and talk to them sometimes. Last time we went they yelled "YAY THE MISSIONARIES ARE BACK" and they ran up and stole the book of Mormons from our hands and since they don't speak Spanish they just love looking at the pictures haha so we let them keep them and hopefully one day they'll all join the church haha
But it is so much fun here. Everyone here is very nice and we are always super busy. We are trying to do our best and serve the Lord with all our heart, might, mind, and strength and to bring others unto Christ.
