SLC WEEK 6

 Hola!

This week was awesome and we definitely saw the hand of the Lord in our lives helping us with the work. We still had some lessons cancel which was hard, but people have their own agency and our purpose is to invite others to come unto Christ. But we have seen some amazing miracles throughout the week!

It's starting to get real cold and this week it started lightly snowing. The mountains are covered in snow now so it's kind of depressing. Me and Elder Boone are both from Gilbert so we hate the cold weather. The heat is definitely better all the Latinos agree because they are all from warm climates too haha

We were able to go to the temple again this week and do baptisms with recent converts. It was a really great experience again and super spiritual!

We got to play soccer again with a bunch of Latinos and some of them are insanely good. We definitely have a long way to go before to get as good as them.

Sunday we saw a big milagro. We had 4 people we are teaching come with us to church that usually don't come very often.

On Friday we met a guy, Jesús, walking through some apartments a few days ago and invited him to some activities we have with the ward, but we didn't know where he lived to knock his door. We also met "bike guy" who was riding his bmx bike around the same apartments complex and we asked him what he likes to do and he said "just cruise around on my bike." And we forgot his name, so we just call him bike guy. But we got his address to go visit him. So Sunday we felt we had to visit bike guy, but his dad was the only one home. He invited us in and we gave him a blessing for the sick. When we left his apartment, we felt we had to turn around and go a different way than we were going. We then saw Jesús and his family bringing in groceries. We helped them bring in some stuff and we shared our purpose and they said they wanted to learn more and invited us in. We taught the Restoration and the spirit was very strong. They were super interested and want us to come back! The Lord definitely guided us to them that day.

Overall another great week and we have a lot of potential here for these next few weeks. It's awesome here in the YSA Spanish ward and lots of work to be done in SLC!

(Sorry for all the pictures of the mountains it's like the coolest thing here haha)
