¡Hola!
This has been an awesome week again and as usual a lot has happened.
We were able to drive up to a few different places on the east and west mountains to see more amazing views of the valley.
We went up on top of the point of the mountain and was able to see the other side of the valley and we could see the Y! Its crazy how close I am to Provo, but it feels so far away.
We also were able to go to do endowments at the Jordan River Temple and also do baptisms with some recent converts in the ward at the Oquirrh Mountain Temple. We also stopped at the Draper Temple, but its closed for cleaning for a while so we weren't able to go inside. So this week so I was able to see all the temples within my mission boundaries.
On Friday we took our friend David whose a nonmember to a Corner Canyon high school football game. If you didn't know Corner canyon is one of the best football teams in Utah. This was Davids first ever American football game because he just moved here to the states. So it was fun to see his reaction to the game
On Saturday we had a baptism for Humberto and Isaac. They are two people we taught for a while with the sister missionaries in our ward. I was able to do one of the confirmations in my broken Spanish. It was my first blessing in Spanish so it wasn't the prettiest blessing. But it was such an amazing experience and the spirit was so strong.
Elder Whitman leaves this Thursday for his original assignment in Canada he's been an awesome trainer and me and Elder Boone are hoping we get another trainer since we are both training. Otherwise we will have to train each other haha but we will see what happens.
Overall its been a great 3 weeks here so far. We have a ton of activities and lessons throughout the week. The Spirit has been super strong and the Lord is guiding us each day. We have seen so many miracles and its the best here in SLC!
Love,
