Hola todos!
Andres and Adriana were baptized! They have been a fun couple to teach. His brother and sister in law were baptized when we first arrived to the area and through these solid converts the Lord has brought many His gospel. I'm grateful for their desire to look for Him. And they have been grateful for us. They even mentioned that before they came to church, they didn't know how to pray the right way and now they have felt peace
Paul and Doris are converts and are struggling, if you can pray for their family it'll be greatly appreciated. They have family in Peru who want to come here but have a short deadline with the borders. They had told us several times already and I started to fade out and tune out the "complaining". But then it came to my mind "what would heavenly father think about them in this moment". I started to listen and felt a great love for them and felt their plea for help. I'm grateful that I was able to heed to the prompting I received.
Transfer news. I'm staying to train and elder Barahona is leaving. Which means this may be my last area with my last companion.
It is still cold. We have had 30⁰ weather all week. And it doesn't seem to want to go away. One day it feels good the next it freezing.. Thanks Utah
Pablo went to the temple for the first time. We went with the youth group and he had a great experience
We have been looking for new people to teach because we don't have too many high potentials at the moment or they haven't come to church. But we were blessed with a miracle. A family came and said can I talk to bishop my family wants to be baptized. The Ward really welcome them and they thanked the ward so much. We will start teaching them this week.
We got a new car. During my whole mission so far I have been blessed with a car. We just got a new Toyota rav 4 and it's been nice. It's a hybrid. But sadly today we will be picking up another one. Goodbye Equinox.
WE ALMOST DIED. We were knocking doors at some townhomes and a man yells did you or did you not see the sign? It says no soliciting. We look and he has a bullet proof vest, pistol in his hand, and a brief case. We were shook and welp nothing happened but he came out of nowhere and wasn't very kind..
But the mission is going great! Thanks you all for your prayers. Hope you have a great week
Love,
