SLC WEEK 84

Hola todos!

Awesome week once again. I'm loving the mission and these people.

Steban was baptized! He has been one of my favorite people to teach. He has had so much faith because he wasn't able to attend church for a few months due to working on Sundays. We prayed so hard with him that the company shut down. Now he has his dream job and is a member of Christ's church. He already has been interviewed for the priesthood and I'm excited to see his progress in the future. I'm grateful to have been part of his teaching. (I've have the pictures of it for next week's email)

We always are asking people where the Spanish speakers live and we have heard some comments that are funny. For example they say "yeah those guys are brown down the street" or "they look like they speak Spanish." Normally when we knock those, they end up being Indian or Tongan.. But this week as we were knocking doors we heard a funny one. A lady answered and said "yeah theres some down the street I heard them giggle in an accent." What does that even mean? Haha

Marriage of Andres and Adriana! It was awesome. They are friends of Steban and are family of some recent converts. They are so awesome and it was great to be a part of their wedding. We are excited for this next Saturday ðŸ™Œ

Snow again ðŸ˜‘ yep.. it just doesn't go away

The shoes I have worn for most of my mission are in the picture below. We went shopping and I found the same pair. I forgot how colorful they used to be ðŸ˜…

We have been very blessed here in this area. Especially as a companionship. I'm very grateful the Lord has put so many people in our path and we are working on helping them all get to the temple. This next week we will receive transfer news and it's sad to think one of us may leave the area. I'm grateful for this ward.

We have been struggling recently to find some more people to teach. We had a few of our most progressing friends move out of the area. We are working to find the elect and I know God always has someone prepared to hear this gospel. We are hoping to find some more for this upcoming transfer.

Once again a great week. Lots of movement and it makes the work fun. I'm trying to enjoy and use every moment with the name badge on. I just hit 3 months left this week so it's weird being on the end side of the mission. I have learned a ton and am excited for these upcoming 2 transfers.

I love you all and hope you have a great week!

Thank you for all your prayers,
Elder Randall
