Holy miracles!!
We got a call from our friend Juan Carlos saying he wants to be baptized!! We have taught him and his family for quite a while but they just have had a hard time deciding between the true church or the one they have gone to their whole lives. On Tuesday we shared a very simple message and didnt really push much for baptism just talked about blessings from the gospel. We left and about an hour later we got a call and the father said he wants to get baptized!! The mother and daughter want to wait a little bit longer, but that was a huge miracle to see
We finished up Pauls interview so now he can be baptized after 5 years of being ready for baptism. All he needed was to finish up divorce paper and get married to his now wife! So he will be baptized with Juan Carlos!
Also Andres and Grecia were busy this week. But they will get baptized this Saturday. So we have been pumped because they are all finally ready to go into the waters!!
We also went to a lo maracucho! Usually Venezuelan food is a hit or miss. They love to add so many flavors that don't mix.. but one food they make right is the tequeños. Its basically a mozzarella stick with some great sauce. We also had the classic Venezuelan drinks Fress Kolita and Malta. Everyone goes crazy when we show them photos that we went there haha
This week has been absolutely incredible. I'm so grateful to be serving here and with my companion. Everything has been working out this week and the grind is finally paying off. I love the work and the people here that we teach. Its great!
