Hola todos!
This week was amazing! But also a little tiring. But there has been a ton of miracles and things falling into place. I'm super excited for this area's future!
(If you would like to skim through just read the first sentence)
First of all it was general conference!! There were so many awesome talks and it was my first time in person! And we went to the Saturday morning and Sunday morning session!! It has been a super cool experience and I felt the spirit super strong especially during the tabernacle choir. Also was able to see my aunt and uncle Ronda and Kevin!!
It was very stressful because we brought people to both of those sessions first 4 and then 6. Latinos are sooooo hard to confirm with and the night before we were running around trying to find those who can go that would benefit the most. Finally we got it down and although it was exhausting to keep rounding them up it was a good experience. The only thing that went wrong was the line for pizza was too long so we didn't eat haha
2nd miracle Paul got married!! He has been a dry member for over 5 years but finally got his divorce papers figured out and was married this week. We are planning for his baptism for this Sunday. We taught every point in one lesson but all we are missing is the baptismal interview!
3rd Our area was split!!!! Finally!!! It has been rough here because there are a lot of people to be taught but not enough time for every single person. But now we split it and basically we have the smallest proselytizing area in the whole mission and maybe even the world. We literally cover one apartment complex and some houses nearby. Its small but probably has more latinos than my last area haha
4th Andres and Grecia are getting baptized next week! It has been fun teaching them and so this next Saturday will be an awesome day for them
5th Temple trips scheduled! We have lots of recent converts who haven't gone to the temple yet. But we finally got our new bishop to work that out with them and now they have recommends. We should be going to the temple a few times next week!!
This week has been amazing one of the best so far. It has been a grind but definitely worth it. I love these people and I thank all of you for your prayers, we truly have seen many miracles recently. My only complaint is that its starting to get cold haha
Hope everyone has a great week!
Love,
Elder Randall
