SLC WEEK 33

Hola todos!

Great week and it went by really quick. I swear they get quicker the longer you're out

We had Zone conference and it was pretty good. It was cool to hear president speak to us and they mostly talked about finding in our mission. It was mostly aimed towards English tho but I still got some good take aways. It was also good to see some of my friends from Spanish. It's sad we don't all get to meet up anymore since the Spanish and English zones combined 

It's finally starting to warm up and I think winter is over for a while so it's been nice weather. But it's nice to not see snow for a while and actually not freeze every time we go outside. Also our apartment we live in is freezing when it snows outside. I think our heater just decides to break or something every time it gets cold but lately it's been nice. But just as soon as I thought that it hailed  BRUH

We also had a really cool activity with our ward for kids with Autism. It was super cool and we had a ton of fun. We also had a bunch of nonmembers there which was good for them to get to know the people in the ward.

Our English class has been popping off. We had 6 people which doesn't seem like a lot, but that is the most I have ever seen in a class since I've been a missionary. The classes are fun to teach too. Especially because we have Fausto who is about 70 years old and is hard of hearing. So when we teach him he always looks confused haha. But Elder Santos asked him "what's the weather is like in Ecuador?" And Fausto just sat there and E. Santos asked him 2 more times and the class got silent waiting for a response. And Fausto just sat super confused until he said "Hace calor. Let's go to the beach" Writing it out, it sounds dumb, but everyone had a good laugh outta that haha

Exchanges aren't very fun in English. But this past one this week was pretty fun. I got a lot of brownies which we don't get too often in Spanish. Also I struggle speaking English in missionary situations like teaching and just talking to people. I'm getting better at not translating from Spanish back into English tho haha
