SLC WEEK 32

Hola todos! And feliz Pascua 🐣

This was good week very good.

We've been teaching English class a bunch lately. It went from being one of my least favorite things to do to one of my favorites. Its funny to watch people go through the struggle I first went through learning the language

So it fetching snowed like crazy this week.  I can't wait for "winter" to be over. 😐 But I'm pretty sure it's over now so we should be good until later this year. But I would much rather die in the heat than be in the snow. I'm sure I'll get more used to it tho the longer I'm here.

Temple Square. We went to Temple Square on Saturday w some members and Jose and Junior who we are teaching. They loved it but Holy crap we took pictures every flipping second. It's better to go with a smaller group to temple Square and we spent wayyyyy longer than we needed to. But at least it was longer than shorter. ALSO if you haven't been before come to Salt Lake City and go to the conference center and church history museum it's worth it. Vale la pena

Temple trip with Mafe, Tairi, and Francesco. We went to do baptisms with Francesco and Tairi and Mafe. It was so cool to see Francesco and Tairi go in for the first time and it was super spiritual. Francesco kept asking if he was getting baptized again and I had to explain it like 3 times and I think he got it tho when we finally went in haha. Guess the missionaries hadn't taught him exactly what happens during baptisms for the dead. But it was cool to see some of my favorite people from my last area and have that experience.

Also cool little miracle. We had a lesson w Jose and Junior and we extended the baptismal invitation. Junior said not yet. Oof. But Jose accepted the invitation. But for whatever reason the spirit told me throw out the date we had in mind and tell him to pray on a date. That's a BIG no no. Because they always pick a date that's really far out and they are usually prepared before the date they pick. But I trusted what I felt and said it. Next lesson comes around and when we saw him we had dinner w some members and them and they asked us our bdays. When I said mine he was kinda shook and I was kinda confused why. But we had the lesson and he said the date he picked was his wife's birthday which is May 20th. If u didn't know that's my birthday. He then testified that that was a sign to him from God that this is what he needs to do. On top of that another "coincidence" happened. The sisters at temple Square are teaching Jose's wife in Venezuela thru zoom. One of those sister's dad is a convert and was baptized on his wife's birthday. So he was shook again haha. Basically the moral of the story is the church is true and God hears your prayers and answers them in ways sometimes we can never expect

Overall great week as always here in SLC. Love my comp and this area and the people we are teaching. Lots of good stuff in the works.

Love,
Elder Randall

**ALSO please pray for Fausto that he can feel prepared for his baptismal date**

(He's so close just needs a little boost from prayer) gracias 🙏🙌
