SLC WEEK 26

Hola todos!

Holy crap this week was kinda crazy. But I'll try to sum it up pretty quick.

So basically the Spanish mission kinda got yeeted. What I mean by that is there were about 8 or so elders who did something pretty disobedient and were told to come into the mission office with their bags packed and they'll find out if they go home. 2 of them were in my district and they both just got sent to other areas in Spanish because the other elders were sent to English. So fat rip.

But now we have both areas in our ward and we no longer share it. It's nice because the work is a little slower here and it gives us more to do, but at the same time we now have to go in and fix it up and learn the other area. So yeah..

Also we got Elder Santos who was one of the greenies and his trainer was one of those elders. So I have to train him on how to be a good missionary as well as train Elder Schmidt on Spanish. Both of them are homies so it's been good.

But so now I only have my companionship and the Portuguese sisters in my district so that's nice. Easy to plan and be a district leader now haha

But definitely a lot of change is happening again this week and it was kinda stressful to handle at first. But the Lord is guiding our efforts and he only puts us in situations we can overcome so I'm not too worried.

But so far all this change has just helped me learn to deal with big changes and unexpected ones. This ward is awesome though and my companions are super cool. I've been super lucky with companions so far on my mission and these guys are some of my favorites.

But overall a good week and seeing a bunch of stuff going on in our area. The work is progressing and we are growing and getting better as a companionship each day which has been cool to see. I love the work and the people and it's been a great transfer so far.

I hope everyone has a great week!

Love,
Elder Randall
