SLC WEEK 24

Hola todos!

I'm not going to lie this week was fetching crazy. The Lord blessed me with so many miracles and tender mercies throughout the week so I'll try to keep it short, but I have a lot to say so no promises. But sorry for the chunky email in advance

**Also if u don't wanna read chunkiness, you can just read the first sentence of each paragraph and it will sum it all up real quick

I'm leaving the ward and going to a family ward for the first time and also I'm District Leader. I'm going to be finishing Elder Schmidt's training in the Riverton family ward. I have heard that area needs some work but that's alright. But I'm going to have a sick District of 6 ppl so that'll be sick. This next transfer might be a grind pero vamos a ver lo que pasa con esto.

This week was my Best p day in the mission so far. We went to the aquarium with our District and it was sick. We saw some fat fish so that got us craving seafood and there is this awesome all you can eat sushi place right next to the aquarium. And holy crap that food was so good. Then I went home nice and full and took a fat nap and it was so nice. By far one of the best naps on the mission. Couldn't have asked for a better p day

Cool spirit confirmation. Luciana Deiriana and Jhordanis are 3 peeps we are teaching and they have been struggling to get a testimony of Joseph Smith. So we were bold and asked them to kneel together with us and pray right now to ask if these things are true. So we did and the spirit was so fetching strong. It was a really cool testimony builder and was cool to see the change of each of them from before and after the prayer. The church is true and if you don't have that testimony for yourself please pray and ask God. He will respond.

Vibe killin granny and golden girl w wack dream. So this was kinda weird. We got a referral and we went and it was this Ysa girl and her grandma. They let us in and we started teaching them the Restoration of the Gospel. The girl told us she went to church an really liked it and felt the spirit and when I asked the grandma she was like "I hated it. Every second was terrible" and I was like yeah ok so.. uh ok. And just kept going with the lesson. Then I got to the first vision, and as usual we invited them to pay attention to the spirit. As I started to say it, the grandma cut me off and said with a scoff "a pillar of light?!?!" And I again was like uh yeah ok and just kept going. The Spirit was still bumping tho and I asked the girl how she felt and she said she felt the Spirit, but the grandma again said "terrible. I feel like it's all a lie" and I was like bruh. Anyways that happened the whole lesson which sucked haha. But then the girl also told us a super wack dream she had and it kinda involved some cult stuff so yeah sometimes you just get some weird experiences on the mission haha. But the girl is really interested and she'll probably get baptized which is cool

So basically everyone we are teaching is struggling hardcore right now. Everyone has different problems, but the most common between all of them is that they feel alone. This week has been a big turn around and everyone we are teaching has a super strong desire to come closer to Chirst and to follow His church. And I know when we keep enduring and pushing through our trials we are never alone. God is always there and He allows these things to happen for our benefit. We have to trust him because be knows everything perfectly. Miracles still exist and God is ALWAYS there, we just have to look for them.

Exchanges w Atilano for the last time. The Lord blessed us with this. We had a good last few lessons together and we also went around to visit all the recent converts we have helped get baptized. It was a really great night and I hope we're able to come visit all these people again soon.

This week has been crazy because we had 4 baptisms for Sunday, but.. um. They all passed their interviews, so they are all ready spiritually. But they all had unforeseen last minute things come up so yeah.. they fell off date. FAT RIP. It was supposed to be Francesco, Tairi, Angel, and Hector who I have either taught with Elder Antezana or Atilano. It sucks that it won't happen while I'm here but I have full confidence that will all be baptized really soon and become converts for life. They are all really awesome people and I can't wait for their actual baptisms. If everyone could help pray for them that'd be awesome.

This has been an awesome week and I wish it would've lasted longer. But the Lord blessed me and let me see all the people I love and want to keep in contact with one last time. The Spanish Riverton YSA ward will forever be the highlight of my mission and I am so grateful that the Lord put me here at this time. And especially for the companions I have had. The Lord has really blessed me and I couldn't be more grateful

Hope everyone has a great week!

Love,
Elder Randall
