Hola todos!!
Once again a great week. And again one of my favorites in the mission haha (I swear I say that every week) But anyways it was still crazy and we saw a ton of miracles.
I was able to go to the temple 3 times this week! First we went on Tuesday to do baptisms with some of our recent converts. Mafe was there and it was super spiritual as always. But me and Elder Antezana got super hungry after so we went to McDonalds which was pretty nice. Then on Thursday we went with all the Spanish missionaries to do Endowments. That was awesome and the spirit was super strong during the whole time. And then again we went on Saturday to go with Daniela who is our most recent convert. It was her first time able to go and it was really cool to help her get into the temple and do baptisms just 2 weeks after she was baptized!
On Monday for FHE with the ward we played charades and it was all in Spanish so I only understood like half of it haha but I just copied all the Latinos goin crazy. But I got us like 5 points when it was my turn so lesssss gooooo
Weather has been nice lately so that means it hasn't snowed in a while. I still get to wear my sweaters with my baby ties which is nice. I have like 3 and I wear them just about everyday
So the biggest miracle this week was our friends Hector, Francesco, Jonathan, Tairi, Gabriela, Luciana, and Diriana. They all have a date to be baptized and they all have such a strong desire to be baptized, especially Francesco. He is basically like our 3rd companion haha he keeps bringing more people that want to hear the message and he's basically our finding source haha. But I'm so grateful for them and their strong desire to progress and come unto Christ through the Restored Gospel.
Also I hit 6 months since starting the MTC! It's crazy that it's already been 6 months and I've been in Salt Lake for this long. My Spanish has gotten a lot better which is a huge blessing. I just have to focus more on becoming a better teacher which can be hard sometimes. I've been blessed to have such great comps that have helped me out a lot with that. I'm also grateful for the people we have baptized, Mafe, Elias, Caleb, Ana, Eduardo, and Daniela. They are all amazing people and they are all active and continuing in the gospel. They also all have their temple recommends and have all been besides Ana whose coming with us next temple trip and Caleb who is a little nugget because he moved. But he is still going to church and is active which is awesome.
But overall, as usual, an awesome week again! Lots of good stuff happening here in SLC Spanish YSA. I live the work and its been an awesome first 6 months. I only have a sister mission left haha
Hope everyone has a great week!
Love,
Elder Randall
